Walker Then
History and personalities define culture and Walker is no exception. It began with Arthur Walker’s entrepreneurial spirit, inspired by skilled artisans who manufactured hand-crafted mirrors for sale to local retailers. The Harrison family acquired Walker in the early 1950’s and embarked on a journey of exciting expansion and constant automation, instilling innovation and a thirst for growth into the culture. Lee Harrison took the helm as President in the 1980’s and has shepherded Walker’s innovative growth to present day.

Today, Walker is positioned as North America’s leading provider of mirror and acid etch glazing substrates. Hard work, team work, and an entrepreneurial spirit with the courage to innovate and grow are at the core of Walker’s culture – a caring culture that is rooted in a respect and appreciation for one another, and that extends to our customers and partners.
Headquartered in our 200,000 square foot facility in Montreal, Canada, Walker owns and operates state of the art mirror and acid etch production facilities, as well as a modern fleet of trucks, serving customers across North America. We are fiercely proud to be a privately-held North American producer that has thrived in serving North American customers – through innovation and a profound desire to understand our customers and meet their needs.
What We Do
Walker Glass is in the business of manufacturing and marketing architectural glass and mirror products to the North American marketplace.
