Walker Glass Company is proud to be the only North American based manufacturer of acid-etched glass as well as acid-etched mirror and un-etched mirror to publish a third-party-verified Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and Health Product Declaration® (HPD®). Walker’s documents were prepared and verified by Vertima, who is an approved third party EPD/HPD® certifier.

EPD – Environmental Product Declaration
An EPD is a report describing a product’s potential environmental impact according to the life cycle assessment (LCA) criteria and in conformity with ISO protocol 14025. Walker sought and received EPD certification for its full surface acid etch glass, acid etched mirror, un-etched mirror, patterned acid-etched glass and it’s bird friendly glass solutions. Through this initiative, the company is committed to learn how to further improve our process to reduce our environmental impact. HPD® – Health Product Declaration®
An HPD® – Health Product Declaration® is a declaration that includes a complete list of a product’s ingredients and their associated effects on health. HPD® reports contribute to various certifications and point systems such as LEED® v4.1 and WELL. As is the case with our EPD certification, Walker has also received its HPD® certification for its line of full surface acid etched glass and acid etched mirror. Walker’s full report is available on demand through our Customer Service Department. Walker’s HPD® report was prepared by Vertima, a certified third party HPDC approved verifier.
